Prague Proms to offer fabulous programme, endorsed by Czech president
The Prague Proms will bring leading figures of the classical, jazz, and crossover scenes together for another year of the music festival’s exceptional international line-up. Audiences can look forward to one of the most anticipated performances with the Eastwood Symphonic, the celebrated Vince Mendoza, and Voices of Hollywood. This year’s edition is held under the auspices of Prague Castle.
The Prague Proms International Music Festival was established in 2005 and has provided audiences myriad concerts in diverse genres every year since. Over the years, concertgoers have heard hundreds of performers and have had the opportunity to meet an incredible number of world-class musicians in person. This year will be no different. The exceptional programme will feature the famous Vince Mendoza, America’s Jeremy Winston Chorale, Voices of Hollywood, as well as Kyle Eastwood, the son of movie star Clint Eastwood. But the festival will be even more exceptional thanks to the unique endorsement it has received. The Prague Proms 2023 will be held under the auspices of Prague Castle, the seat of the Czech president. We are immensely pleased and proud of this fact. President Petr Pavel will open the festival in person, ahead of the concert of the Eastwood Symphonic.
The president has been a supporter and distinguished guest of the Prague Proms for a number of years, and it has always been and will be our honour to welcome him to our concerts.
